Frank Lloyd Wright, the noted architect, recalled how he was awakened one night by a frantic telephone call from a client whose house had recently been completed.  It had been raining, the roof had leaked, and the living room was flooded.  The distraught client asked, “What should I do?’

Calmly, Frank Lloyd Wright replied, “Rise above it.”

People of faith have an enormous advantage because they have lifting leverage from outside themselves. God has invited all people to cast their burdens upon Him.  He has assured us that He will sustain us.  But it takes a little bit of faith to activate that promise.

If you’re in desperate circumstances and about to go under, do your best and trust God for the rest.  You will be lifted by His everlasting arms beneath you.
