A PARENTAL SCORE CARD
Johnny Miller has had a successful career in professional golf. But his lifestyle has been unlike that of many other sports professionals. His faith and family life have always been top priorities.
Johnny said, “Spending time with the family is really my favorite activity. In the end, how good a parent you are has got to be more important than whether you shoot 68 or 71.”
Surely people are successful who do certain vital things for children: loving them well so they feel secure, disciplining them wisely so they can exercise self-control, teaching them the difference between right and wrong, and introducing them to a loving, all-sufficient God.
