JUST DO IT
One day a hardworking farmer’s wife died very suddenly as she went about her normal duties. Her husband was a hardworking, closemouthed man. Just before the funeral he went to the minister, took from his pocket a small shabby book, and handed it to him. The farmer said, “It’s a book of poems. She liked them very much. Would you read one of them in the service? She always wanted us to read them together, but I never seemed to have time. You know how it is on the farm. There are always so many things to be done. But I just got to thinking…you don’t get it into your head what time is really for until it’s too late, do you?”
If you knew you had only 24 hours left to live, what would you do? Whatever your answer, do it today.
