August 9, 2017

When I was pastor of a church in Memphis, I happened to walk near the entrance of our church’s nursery one Sunday morning.  A little three-year-old boy was being escorted to the nursery by his grandmother.  The little boy pointed toward Seabrook Hall where our contemporary services were held.  He said very proudly, “That’s where big church is; that’s where my Daddy goes.”

I thought to myself----when that little fellow becomes a big fellow, he will be in church, partly because of his Daddy’s example.
